Dear Students;
The Faculty of Technology, a unit of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University where located at a point where natural beauties meet history, educates engineers who have the knowledge and skills to use them scientifically in line with business and industry needs and world standards.
Our faculty is focused on created to high skilled manpower that modern Turkey requiered who are quaility, idealistic, searching, questioning, problem solving, information that requires analytical thinking, the ability to apply equipped with the skills and competencies in such areas as science and technology. In this sense, the Faculties of Technology, which bring a different perspective to the concept of engineering, have created new and special engineering programs and have taken the expectation of an engineer one step further. An engineering curriculum that strengthens cooperation with industry is prepared in our faculty and engineers are trained with the knowledge and application skills in line with the expectations of the business world. Additionally, this educational period, adhering to Turkey Basic Higher Education Qualifications Framework and Bologna criteria, organized as 7 semesters theoretical and practical courses and one semester Workplace Training. Our students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned from theoretical and practical courses and to reinforce the deficiencies they experienced in business life before they graduate even during their workplace training in the public or private sector.
Dear students, the most successful person in life is the person who has the best knowledge. For this reason, as Faculty of Technology in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, we give importance to investments in updating educational materials and curriculum and strengthening our laboratory infrastructure. In this way, we are taking important steps towards having the international accreditations that we aimed. On the other hand, we aim to provide at least one foreign language skill within the framework of international competencies by providing to study English preparatory class for 1 year to our students. In this target, our faculty have bilateral cooperation and agreements within Erasmus + and Mevlana programs with universities in various countries in the world and we provide the opportunity of training and internship at these universities to our students every year.
Our faculty located at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Central Campus and thus provides to students with many social and accommodation opportunities and facilitates access to areas such as student communities, sports facilities and libraries.
